July is almost here, and in Hastings that means Rivertown Days. HEP will have a booth again this year, and again we’ll be providing information about how we serve the community and protect our natural heritage. We will also be giving away a free native plant; a purple coneflower. We need a few volunteers to set up and take down the booth. Here are the details:
- Dates: Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20
- Times: Saturday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Sunday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Location: Jaycee Park, Lock & Dam Road, Hastings. Booth number to be announced
We need volunteers for 3-hour shifts during these times. It works best to have at least 2 volunteers at a time. Here’s the schedule for the two days:
Saturday, June 19
- 8:00 am – 11:00 am – Set up and greeter
- 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Greeter
- 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Greeter and take down (partial)
Sunday, June 20
- 8:30 – 11:00 am – Set up and greet
- 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Greeter
