To preserve, protect, restore, and encourage resilience in the Hastings Area natural environments through monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of habitat and water quality, and through education, advocacy and partnership with government and community and environmental organizations.

Founded in 2003 under the leadership of Tecla Karpen as an effort to care for the communities natural heritage and environment, Hastings Environmental Protectors has grown in membership and its variety of activities. We’re looking for dedicated people to join in our work and
The HEP Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Pleasant Hill Library. Members or interested public are invited to attend. We will provide a Zoom link via email to anyone wishing to participate remotely.
